The breathtaking beauty of Wizard Island and the beautiful vistas from the rim of the crater are inspiring in all seasons. Be sure to stop at the Park Headquarters to see the video about the lake. Also be sure to check out the historic Crater Lake Lodge, maybe have a fine meal in the hotel dining room, or just warm yourself in front of the stone fireplace. You can even enjoy a beverage and sit in a rocking chair on the deck overlooking the lake.<\/p>\n

A great way to see the lake in the summer is by the\u00a0<\/span>Crater Lake Trolley<\/a>. Well worth the price to spend your time looking at scenery along the Rim Drive instead of watching traffic and searching for parking! It stops at several points along the way for you to get out and take photos. The Park Service Interpreter is there to tell you everything you want to know about the lake, its history, geology and more.<\/p>\n
