Union Creek

Just 11 miles up the highway is the little wayside of Union Creek and Beckie’s Cafe where you can get a great breakfast, lunch or dinner and a slice of pie. In the summer, the ice cream shop is to die for!

Continuing toward Crater Lake just past Beckie’s is the Rogue Gorge Viewpoint. This wayside (parking accessible to RVs) is where the Rogue River travels through a narrow collapsed lava tube for some of the most awesome white water you’ve ever seen! There is a 1/4 mile paved path along the side (and a fence so you won’t fall in!) so you can get several views of the cataract.
