Swimming

Some folks just really want to get wet! The Rogue River is just a 2-minute walk from our park, but the current is swift and the water is very cold above the dam. Below the dam there are pools of water you can dangle your feet in on a hot day or take a dip. For a safer swimming hole, we often suggest driving up the highway a bit to Woodruff Bridge day use area where the river has a small beach at an eddy that is shallower and a bit warmer too.

There is also swimming 11 miles down the highway at Lost Creek Lake.
