Prospect Jamboree & Timber Carnival

This fun small town event is held on the third Saturday in August and it all happens just 1/4 mile from the Crater Lake RV Park. Activities start with a Lumberjack Breakfast at Lions Park. The Parade starts at the Prospect Store and winds the short way up Mill Creek Drive to just past the Prospect School. Anybody is welcome to join in and we usually have lots of classic cars, kids on bikes, horses, costumes, the Prospect Pep Band (on a flatbed truck!) and lots more crazy fun! The activities continue at Lions Park with craft and food booths, games for the kids, the Timber Carnival Logging competition, music and much more.

Music in the Mountains at the Prospect Hotel

The last weekend in September finds great music in Prospect! The annual “Music in the Mountains” festival is held just 1/2 mile from the Crater Lake RV Park on the grounds of the Historic Prospect Hotel. The music is Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Americana and sometimes just a surprise! There are food and craft booths and lots of shade on the lawn, so bring your folding chairs or a blanket and be ready for some good music and fun!
