Telephone Access

Cell phones just don’t work well in the forest because the pine needles break up the signal and most phones these days are not strong enough to find them! At the Crater Lake RV Park, we have installed a booster antenna at the office to create a “Cell Phone Zone” where most everyone (depending on their carrier) should get a cell signal. Just bring your phone and set a spell on the porch to make your calls. You may need to turn your phone off and on again to get the signal to find you!

If you have a phone that can use Wi-Fi calling, you should be able to make and receive calls most anywhere in the Park! You might need to be outside of your rig if it doesn’t work inside. Better yet, you’re on vacation so put the phone away and enjoy the outdoors!

There are phone lines wired to most sites that can be made available at a nominal fee for guests needing access for medical reasons, such as heart monitoring. Just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

If all else fails, we do have a guest phone available in the office should you need to call home or a repair shop or make a reservation, etc. Just ask one of our Park Hosts and we’ll be happy to help you.
