Prospect
The Crater Lake RV Park is located in the little village of Prospect. Prospect and its surrounding areas are a treasure of beauty and recreational opportunity to be discovered in any season of the year. Breathtaking views, green forests and magnificent waterfalls await your visit.
Prospect began as a logging town with the first sawmill operating in 1870. Since 1892, when the Historic Prospect Hotel first opened to guests, summer visitors have come to the Prospect area to enjoy the scenery and natural attractions. Visitors enjoy participating in various outdoor activities, from photographing the scenery to backpacking in the wilderness of the Rogue River National Forest. Prospect remains an unincorporated town and has thrived as a popular stopping point on the way to Crater Lake since the early 1900’s.
