Timber Carnival
Each summer on the 3rd weekend in August, the little town of Prospect holds its annual Jamboree and Timber Carnival. The Jamboree starts withs a small town parade including floats, custom cars, motorcycles, fire engines, horses, kids on bikes, music and much more. There are lawn mower races, bed races and other fun contents. The local Search & Rescue hosts a fundraiser pancake breakfast.
The Timber Carnival at Lion’s Park has games, booths, logging competitions such as axe throwing, log rolling, sawing, etc. Anyone can participate! There’s BBQ and other treats to satisfy your hunger cravings.
Plan to stay at the Crater Lake RV Park where you can leave your rig behind and walk the short 1/2 mile to town and all the fun festivities!
